It is the wish of our Diocesan Bishop, Christopher Coyne, that as many adult Catholics as need to receive still the sacrament of Confirmation will receive the sacrament directly from the the Bishop.

Parishes have materials for immediate preparation of practicing Catholics who need to receive confirmation. Sessions of learning and prayerful preparation start in Lent, and culminate in reception of confirmation around Pentecost Sunday.

All adult Catholic confirmandi are invited to receive confirmation from the Bishop at the Cathedral of the Diocese in Burlington on Pentecost Sunday. Reception of confirmation in local parishes may be possible at the same Masses where the Bishop confers confirmation upon our high school age Catholics.
